Start on The West Side BeltLine. Go right. Take the dirt path behind the breweries. (not the concrete).
This takes you all the way to a concrete portion with some crayons. Continue on The West Side Beltline.
Stay on this for another two miles. It will end into a neighborhood called Washington Manor. You are on the street for a little bit, cross over Josephe E Boone, and then back onto The Beltline.
Stay on this until it ends on The WestSide Beltline Connector.
Turn left onto Travis St NW at the Trap Museum.
You are heading towards Northside. Make a left onto Northside, then you will jig jog across to continue up Northside. If you stay to the left on Northside, there is a sidewalk.
Follow Northside DR allllll the way up, crossing over 10th street and I-75, and continue until you come to Collier Road.
Turn right onto Collier Rd NW.
Turn right onto Peachtree Rd NW. Follow Peachtree, crossing over I-85, and just past the WSB Studio is Beverly Rd. NE. Turn left onto Beverly Rd NE
Stay on Beverly towards the Golf Course and there is a jig jog over to left on Polo Drive/Montgomery
As you head up, the Golf Course is on your right.
You will then enter The Beltline below you to the right. There should be a flag and some tape, but it might be taken down.
(Just know – If you hit Monroe, you went too far).
Head towards Piedmont Park and you will run into The Aid Station.
After the aid station, continue on to the left into The Park. There will be flags. There is a concrete part, avoid that. Take the path less traveled.
This gets easy for a while as you go through Piedmont Park, Cross over 10th and stay on the Beltline for a while.
It ends over on Krog Street. Go through Krog Street Tunnel. Left on Wylie. Then Back on The Beltline just before Flat Shoals.
Takes you to Bill Kennedy Way at Muchacho. Cross the street and head towards Glenwood. Pass Chick-Fila and Kroger and it takes you to the last unpaved part of The Beltline.
From this point on, there may be some fences depending on the amount of construction, but most are easily to walk around to continue your journey safely. Follow the flags whenever possible.
Specific things to watch for along the way:
At Ormewood – The bridge is definitely out at Ormewood. You’ll need to drop down off the BeltLine, cross the street, and hop back on from the other side.
Since it’s been raining, it’s a bit muddy. Going down on the right side may be easier on your feet but muddier. The left side is steeper and you may need to scooch on your butt. Be cautious.
Once you’ve crossed, you’ll see some rocks on the other side of the street. Carefully climb up those to get back onto the BeltLine and continue on your merry way.
At United – The bridge is complete and safe, it’s just not quite “finished”. Just hop onto it from the dirt and continue on.
At Milton – The fence might be closed. One can easily squeeze through, or at worst, climb over.
Continue into Tetanus Tunnel, and under the downtown Connector
Once you cross over Metropolitan Ave and now you are 1 mile to go.
Stay on the Beltline til you come to where it all began.
